 Knowing first hand what is like being a single parent, it has so many highs and just as many lows(if that is your mindset).  Seeing single parents on a daily basis reminded me of the need for some form of ongoing support to remind us (mother or father) that we are not in this predicament alone.  Upon my initial introduction to SMORE,  and understanding its intent and drive, I believe this is another divine resource that encourages, motivates and inspires parents that there is help awaiting them at the beginning and ending of each day.  Seeing this program in progress is an answered prayer and a reminder that there is "Hope".  Mrs. Gail Showalter spares nothing and has been open to sharing her own personal testimony of being a single mom raising three children alone.  Listening to her stories opens the door and heart of woman to know that she too can live passionately as God would want and to encourage others through the gift of life that God is restoring and renewing through empowerment of sharing with another parent.    - Mary Simon
